Prompt:
As the Internet age changes what and how people read, there has been considerable debate about the future of public libraries. While some commentators question whether libraries can stay relevant, others see new possibilities for libraries in the changing dynamics of today’s society.
Carefully read the following six sources, including the introductory information for each source.
Write an essay that synthesizes material from at least three of the sources and develops your position on the role, if any, that public libraries should serve in the future.
DIRECTIONS: You ARE GOING TO FIND YOUR RESOURCES. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO FIND 4 USABLE SOURCES.(These sources will be submitted with your final article)
You should only select sources that can enhance your essay.
In your response you should do the following:
- Respond to the prompt with a thesis that presents a defensible position.
- Select and use evidence from at least 3 of the provided sources to support your line of reasoning. Indicate clearly the sources used through direct quotation, paraphrase, or summary. Sources may be cited as Source A, Source B, etc., or by using the description in parentheses.
- Explain how the evidence supports your line of reasoning.
- Use appropriate grammar and punctuation in communicating your argument.

AP EXAM FOR MP 3:- YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE FULL EXAM BY WEDNESDAY, 3/22 @ 11:45PM
DAYS TO TAKE YOUR TEST IN CLASS: MONDAY, 3/20, WEDNESDAY, 3/22,
(You will be required to complete the MCQ section during one of these dates. If you decide to complete the written section 2 1/2 hours, you may use both classes on any date. However, you will have to make arragnements to stay after school for approx 45 minutes)
***BONUS POINTS: There is an assigned AP Exam (195 minutes total)
You must take the MCQ section in one sitting- (it is 1 hour)
You must take the FRQ section in one sitting - (it is 2 hours and 15 minutes)
It is optional. HOWEVER, IF YOU COMPLETE THE EXAM and score a 2 , YOU WILL RECEIVE 25 BONUS POINTS (These points are awarded for completing the exam)
