Jam boards:  Make 4 per group ( for the group to plan, organize, create a STANCE AND  present)

A. You will be given a side: Defend  or challenge-   to develop  your position on the role, if any, that digital media should play in the lives of young people. (Your group will be given the position to defend, challenge, or qualify your claim)

B. Read your Prompt

C. You will be assigned to a group (We will also be using Google Meet)

D. Your group will utilize 10/3-10/4 (two periods, not 3) to plan and review the sources

10/4-10/5 TO WRITE YOUR PAPER; 

10/6 TO PREPARE YOUR PRESENTATION AND PRACTICE; 

10/7 TO PRESENT YOUR ARGUMENTS (two periods, not 3) to plan and review the sources

-Create a soapstone for each source...Each person will create one in THIER AP TEXT

E. Your group will develop your STANCE and Reasons to defend your claim

F. Your group will analyze the sources.

G. Your presentation will be based on the Prompt, the AP Directions, and the AP rules

H. Your group will present your claim as if you are presenting a verbal paper.

I. You must know your sources and present as if you are speaking, not reading an essay

J. You must include your Jam board in your presentation

*Create a FORMAL OUTLINE FOR YOUR ESSAY

**CREATE A FORMAL 5 PARAGRAPH ESSAY

4. -AFTER PRESENTING THE ESSAY, YOU GROUP MUST DISCUSS THEIR POSITION AND EVIDENCE TO THE CLASS...EXPLANATIONS AFTER THE PAPER IS PRESENTED

*EVERY MEMBER IS EXPECTED TO MAKE AN EQUAL CONTRIBUTION TO THE PAPER AS WELL AS THE PRESENTATION.  YOUR PAPER WILL BE PRESENTED VIA GOOGLE MEET TO THE ENTIRE CLASS.

-YOU MAY USE YOUR PAPER/ NOTECARDS FOR THE PRESENTATION

*Remember, this is an argument, and you are presenting it to the class.

*Develop your argument by including embedded evidence to support your stance

*Organize, organize, organize, AND Prove, prove, prove

*Each group member must contribute equally
